How2GetOrganized helps individuals, families, and seniors navigate clutter, moves, downsizing, and life transitions with practical, compassionate, hands-on support.
No judgment. No expectation of a picture-perfect home. Just real help creating spaces and systems that make everyday life a little easier.

I know how overwhelming life transitions can feel—because I’ve lived through a few of my own.
I believe organizing isn’t about creating a picture-perfect home. It’s about creating a space that makes your life easier, calmer, and more manageable.
When I took ownership of How2GetOrganized, I wasn’t interested in replacing what made this company special. I wanted to carry it forward—honoring the practical, compassionate organizing philosophy created by founder Elisa Hawkinson while bringing my own experience, energy, and hands-on approach to the work.
Whether we’re tackling one overwhelming room, preparing for a move, downsizing decades of belongings, or helping a family navigate a major transition, my goal is simple:
Meet you where you are, without judgment, and help you move forward.
How2GetOrganized didn’t begin with me.
It was founded by professional organizer and author Elisa Hawkinson, who spent years helping people discover that getting organized isn’t about perfection—it’s about creating systems that support the way you actually live.
Elisa built How2GetOrganized around compassion, practical solutions, and the belief that our spaces can either add to our stress or help relieve it.
When the opportunity came for me to carry the business forward, it mattered to me that those values came with it.
Today, How2GetOrganized is growing into its next chapter—combining the foundation Elisa created with a hands-on team approach designed to help individuals and families throughout the Puget Sound region.

We’re not here to take over your home. We’re here to help you feel more in control of it.
You don’t have to know where to start. That’s what the conversation is for.
Tell us what’s happening, what feels overwhelming, and what you’d like to change. We’ll help you figure out the next step.
20–40 minutes • No obligation • Just a conversation about what you need.
